Summer reading starts June 14
Sure feels like summer, doesn't it? And summer reading at ELPL for children of all ages (and adults, too) will begin on Monday, June 14. We'll have lots of fun, free programs to keep everyone busy, plus a reading incentive program to keep kids reading all summer long.

Join us this Sunday, March 14 from 1:30-3 pm for another of our popular Fun with LEGOS® programs. FREE! For ages 4 and up.

Mark your calendar for another popular and fun LEGO Creation Day on Sunday, February 7 from 1:30-3 pm at the East Lansing Public Library. Children ages 4+ can build a masterpiece using our LEGOs and we will put it on display in the children's room. Past LEGO programs have been a hit with children and the adults that bring them!

The History of Michigan Wines
Sample Michigan wines while local residents and authors, Sharon Kegerreis and Lorri Hathaway, talk about their new book, The History of Michigan Wines: 150 Years of Winemaking Along the Great Lakes. Copies of their new book as well as their first title, From the Vine, will be available for purchase.
