The Friends’ On-Going Used Book Sale is one of the most exciting ventures the Friends undertake; one that shows the true entrepreneurial spirit of our group. Utilizing the talents and hard work of our many dedicated volunteers who are willing to spend countless hours sorting through donations and other treasures, we have been able to make substantial financial contributions to the library. This dedication reflects our commitment to supporting all aspects of the Library services. The proceeds purchased furniture, remodeled the Meeting Room that now features state-of-the art audiovisual equipment, provided the first computers for patron use, sponsored programs for all ages, enhanced the book collections, and purchased adaptive computer equipment for visually impaired and dyslexic patrons.

Our bookstore is open everyday during library hours. Staffed daily by volunteers, we constantly have new items including:
Books
CDs/Tapes/Records
Videos and DVDs
Computer software
Magazines

Most of our books are $1.00 or less. Better books which include recent releases and best sellers are priced accordingly, and rare and collectible books are offered at affordable prices.

Generous donations allow us to hold a discounted book sale. Three times a year, we fill the Meeting Room with thousands of donated books, magazines, records and we sell them at prices even better than our used book sale. The sale is held over a weekend and publicized throughout the community. Check the website for further details.
