On March 14, President Trump issued an Executive Order stating that IMLS "shall be eliminated to the maximum extent consistent with applicable law."   IMLS is the nation’s only federal agency for America’s libraries and provides critical funding to libraries across the country.

The 4th annual writing contest is back! Hosted by the MSU Community Writing Center and ELPL, this contest is a great way to show off your creative talents and win cash prizes!

On March 17, just over a year since I began at ELPL, we were thrilled to finally unveil our new strategic plan! This plan will guide our decisions about budget, programs, partnerships, and other services for the next few years.

Books, Bites & Bids will feature delicious food and spirits, live music, and an exciting silent auction—all hosted at the East Lansing Public Library.
