Help local teens start school successfully! From August 1 to August 15, ELPL will be participating in a period product drive in order to help provide students with free access to menstrual hygiene products. There will be a donation box located near the Teen Room where community members can drop off pads, tampons, or other menstrual hygiene products. All products will go to East Lansing High School students for the upcoming school year as well as the organization Helping Women Period. For more information about this drive and the importance of free and accessible menstrual products, visit helpingwomenperiod.org.
For any questions about donations or this drive, please to reach out to Rheanna, the Teen Services Specialist, at rreeder@cityofeastlansing.com.
