Books, Bites & Bids is always celebrated during National Library Week. This year's theme is There's More to the Story. Libraries are full of stories in a variety of formats from picture books to large print, audiobooks to ebooks, and more. But there's so much more to the story. Libraries lend items such as museum passes, chromebooks, musical instruments, and tools. Library programming brings communities together for entertainment, connection, and learning through book clubs, storytimes, movie nights, crafting classes, and lectures. Library infrastructure advances communities, providing internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for businesses, job seekers, and entrepreneurs. Here's a chance to celebrate ELPL and all it does for our community. 2023 also marks the 100th anniversary of when the library was established.
Monies raised at BBB will go toward the educational, interactive children's garden which begins construction in spring of 2023. Renderings of the garden will be available to view at the event. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend this special night to eat, drink and bid!!
