Every time Cardi B's "I Like It" comes on the radio, I turn up the volume and bounce to the beat in my seat. How can you not with fun lyrics like: "They call me Cardi Bardi, banging body, spicy mami, hot tamale"
Plus, the song samples the 1967 song from Puerto Rican singer Pete Rodriguez "I Like it Like That, opens a new window" (go to about 40 seconds in the video and it will sound familiar). And, "I Like It" features Columbian reggaeton singer, J Balvin, who's single "Familiar, opens a new window" with Liam Payne peaked at number 13 on Billboard's YouTube chart.
"I Like It" is on Cardi B's Album Invasion of Privacy, opens a new window which also includes her Billboard chart topping "Bodak Yellow." With the success of "Bodak Yellow" and "I Like It' Cardi B is the first female rapper to achieve multiple chart-topping songs and the album has gone platinum.
