Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening at the East Lansing Public Library’s Books, Bites & Bids 2025, taking place on Friday, April 11, from 5:30-8:00 pm. This special event, held during National Library Week, highlights the invaluable role libraries, librarians, and library workers play in our society. The 2025 theme, Drawn to the Library, celebrates the many ways libraries captivate and connect communities, including through the preservation and exploration of local history.
Books, Bites & Bids will feature delicious food and spirits, live music, and an exciting silent auction—all hosted at the East Lansing Public Library. This year, proceeds will support initiatives to enhance our local history resources, ensuring our community continues to have access to its rich past.
WKAR’s Linda Kernohan will be our emcee for the evening, and both Pamela Smith, President of the library’s Board of Trustees, and Kevin King, ELPL Director, will share a few words to kick off the event. We’re excited for you to join us in celebrating this meaningful occasion!
Some of the exciting auction baskets up for bid include:
- Peacock Road Family Farm Package
- Zap Zone Family Fun Passes
- Williamston Theatre Tickets
- Overnight stays at both The Graduate and Marriott East Lansing
…and much more!
Tickets are $70 per couple or family and $35 for an individual, which includes food and drinks for the evening.
We look forward to a fantastic night and hope to see you there! Stay tuned for more details, and be sure to grab your tickets by clicking the buttons below!
