Books on Tap (adults): Tuesday, January 14, 6:30-8pm
- Meet us every 2nd Tuesday at One North Kitchen for drinks and conversation! This month we will be discussing Exit West by Mohsin Hamid. Registration required.

Muslim Journeys - The Awakening of Malcolm X (adults): Thursday January 16 7 8:30pm
- Join us at the library for a discussion of the book The Awakening of Malcolm X by author, activist and daughter of Malcolm X Iyasaha Shabazz. The discussion will be led by MSU History Professor Dr. Pero G. Dagbovie in anticipation of Shabazz’s visit to MSU campus.

Anita Skeen and Laura B. DeLind Visit and Book Signing (adults): Saturday, January 18 2:30-4pm
- Join local poet Anita Skeen and local printmaker Laura B DeLind as they talk about their collaborative book: Even the Least of These. Copies will be available for sale and signing.

Page to Stage (adults): Thursday, January 23, 7-8pm
- Join us and theatre professionals at ELPL to discuss local theatrical productions before they open live at the Williamston Theatre. This month we’re discussing "A Case for the Existence of God". Copies of each play will be available at the library in advance of the discussions.

Teen Bingo Series (teens): Monday, January 27 3:30-4:30pm
- Join us once a month to play some bingo, win cool prizes, and build some bingo street-cred.

ELPL Fiction Book Club (adults): Monday, January 27, 7-8pm
- This month we’re discussing Homecoming, by Yaa Gyasi.

Community Craft Swap (all ages): Sunday, February 2, 1:30-3:30pm
- Discover a new hobby as you declutter! Bring your clean and gently used craft supplies, and pick up some new ones! You do not have to bring something in order to participate. Hot chocolate and tea will be available.

Nature Book Club (adults): Saturday, February 8 12-1pm
- Every other month the Nature Book Club meets to discuss a nonfiction book about nature. This month the group will be discussing Mama’s Last Hug by primatologist Frans de Waal.
Spotlight: Ancestry Library Edition
Wanting to find out more about who you are and where you come from? Branch out and discover your relatives and ancestors with Ancestry Library Edition. This resource is only available inside the library building, and gives you access to one of the most popular genealogy databases to map out your family tree.
