Welcome to Miss Eva's Top Three! Each month I'll be picking out items from three different areas of the children's section to feature that I've enjoyed -- some new titles, some older ones, but all of them things that have caught my eye! Check out this month's picks below.
Community Languages Collection: A Nest in Springtime: A Bilingual Book of Numbers by Belle Yang
One of my favorite bilingual books, this features a nest of geese hatching in springtime with numbers in English and Mandarin.
Picture book: Moon by Britta Teckentrup
Britta Teckentrup is one of my favorite children's authors at the moment, and this picture book is a sweet and well-constructed look at the natural world and the phases of the moon as it waxes and wanes.
Non-fiction: Curiosity: The Story of a Mars Rover by Markus Motum
If you (like me) were drawn to the story of the brave little rover that explored Mars and sang itself happy birthday, this artistic and informative first-person account of Curiosity is a must!
