In our new Patron Perspectives series, we’re sharing stories from some of the people in our community. This week, we’ll be hearing from Phil Booth!
Phil was born in Jackson, MI, and later settled in East Lansing, where he taught at Lansing Catholic High School, and coached football and baseball. Phil has been married for 58 years to his wife Mary, and they have five children and eleven grandchildren. Now that he’s retired, Phil keeps busy in his art studio with oil paints, reading, learning about genealogy, traveling, building model trains, and other creative pursuits, like the ones that led him here to ELPL’s Maker Studio.
