September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and this year we’re going big! This month only, when you renew, sign up for, or show your library card at the front desk, you can enjoy free giveaways, while supplies last! We’ve also partnered with local businesses to offer discounts on goods and services when you show your ELPL library card at check-out.

Do you own a business that would be interested in participating in this promotion? It’s not too late to join the library card celebration! Email gkindig@cityofeastlansing.com for more details.

Featured: MSU IDs Now Work as Library Cards!

You take your MSU student ID card everywhere; it's your meal pass, your keycard to campus buildings, your identification, all rolled into one card. Now, East Lansing Public Library is excited to announce that you can use your MSU student ID card as a library card, too!

Stop by the library for a one-time registration, and your student ID card will be enrolled as an ELPL card so you can enjoy everything the library has to offer! There's no extra paperwork, no proof of residence required, no hassle.

Learn more about everything the library has to offer MSU students on our blog.
