The library is for everyone, especially teens!
ELPL welcomes students in 6th-12th grade to the library's Teen Time program! This is a drop-in program offering a safe place for teens to hang out after school between 2:30-5:30pm on weekdays during the school year.
After school, we’ll open our Teen Room, Maker Studio, and meeting room (when available) as a safe and welcoming space for teens. A snack will also be provided between 2:30pm to 3:15pm most days after-school. Come hang out and we’ll also be sure to include special days for games, crafts, clubs, and other fun activities!
Drop by the teen area and let us know what you’d like to see and we’ll do our best to make it happen! Board games? Video games? Food? Writing? Clubs? It’s all at the library!
Please note: Teen Time will occur from 11am-3pm on half days for East Lansing High School and MacDonald Middle School students.
For any questions about Teen Time, please feel free to reach out to Rheanna Reeder, the Teen Services Specialist, at rreeder@cityoeastlansing.com.
