You take your MSU student ID card everywhere; it's your meal pass, your keycard to campus buildings, your identification, all rolled into one card. Now, East Lansing Public Library is excited to announce that you can use your MSU student ID card as a library card, too!
Stop by the library for a one-time registration, and your student ID card will be enrolled as an ELPL card so you can enjoy everything the library has to offer! There's no extra paperwork, no proof of residence required, no hassle.

- Books, movies, and music: Your ELPL library card gives you full access to our collection of books, movies, and music, available in physical or digital copies. Craving a fictional escape from all your textbooks and assigned readings? We've got you.
- Express Collection: Skip the holds line! We maintain a collection of some of our most popular new titles, available immediately. These books and movies have a shorter loan period to ensure that books remain available and everyone gets to enjoy great stories. Loan periods are seven days for books, three days for movies.
- MeL.org: Looking for a book that's not in our collection, OR the MSU library's collection? Request books from any library in Michigan through the MeL inter-library loan system, and books will be shipped for free right here to ELPL. MeL also offers a huge database of online resources for tutoring, career advancement, and more.

- Tutor.com: On-demand tutoring, homework help, test preparation and writing assistance for kids and adults in over 60 subjects. Tutors are available 2pm-9pm EST, 7 days a week. You can also use their drop-off reviews, practice quizzes, and video lessons for self-study, 24/7.
