1. Call to Order 4:31 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Trustees present were: Diane Goddeeris, Polly Synk, Amy Zaagman, and Lance Wilkinson. Trustee Paul Cervenak was absent. Also, in attendance were Friends Vice President Sheila Taylor, Director Kristin Shelley, and Assistant Director/Head of Customer Experiences Brice Bush. No councilmembers were present.

5.1 City Council Liaisons' Report:
- None
5.2 Friends of the East Lansing Public Library Report
Taylor Reported:
- Bookshop sales continue to grow.
- The Friends will participate in an alternative holiday sale at Edgewood United Community Church on November 19 from 5:00pm-9:00pm.
- Friends President McCabe-Power and Friends board member Carlson met with Library Board President Goddeeris, Library Board Vice President Synk, Director Shelley, and Assistant Director Bush to write a Memo of Understanding between the Friends of the Library and ELPL. Synk will send draft from meeting.
6. Old Business
6.1 Construction Update
- Window replacements and limestone repair will require a change order.
- Electrical system upgrades have been delayed.
- Railings for center stairs and the south ramp are scheduled to be installed by December 1.
- Three flowering crab apple trees have been planted and include an additional one-year warranty.
6.2 Staffing Update
- Current vacancies include Head of Technology Services, STEAM Education Specialist, and Marketing/Communications Specialist.
7. New Business
7.1 Resolution 09-22 to approve 2022 Library Board Meeting Dates with October meeting date changed to October 26, 2022.
