The East Lansing Public Library occupies the ancestral, traditional and contemporary lands of the Anishinaabeg Three Fires confederacy of Ojibwe, Odawa and Potawatomi peoples land ceded in the 1819 Treaty of Saginaw.

Trustees present: Pamela Smith, Shawn Nicholson, Polly Synk and Amy Zaagman. Trustee Ameenah Asante was excused. Also present were Friends Representative Toba Kaplowitz, Library Director Kevin King, and Executive Assistant to Library Director Shori Teeple. Five guests present.
